On October 22nd, in a park near the Vilnius University branch, one of the most memorable events in students' lives took place - the student baptism.
It's a joyful celebration associated with the acceptance of new students who have entered their first year into the academic community. The incoming youth are subjected to playful challenges and tasks, after which they take a solemn oath crafted by the upperclassmen. The purpose of the baptism is also to integrate new university members with experienced students.
