On May 10th, the University of Bialystok's Vilnius Branch hosted an informatics competition for students in grades 10-12. The main prizes were sponsored by the Polish Entrepreneurship Forum "Korona," and each participant received gifts provided by Beata Pietkiewicz, a member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
The main goal of the competition is to promote informatics not only as a source of entertainment but primarily as a significant branch of knowledge. The event is aimed at students from schools in Vilnius and the surrounding area with Polish as the language of instruction.
The scope of informatics knowledge covered topics such as computer applications, computer architecture, mobile devices, and basic programming. The questions and practical tasks were developed based on the content found in computer science textbooks for grades X-XII.

The members of the John von Neumann Computer Science Student Research Group prepared a presentation, quiz, and symbolic awards for the students.
The competition was organized by the Computer Science Department of the University of Bialystok's Vilnius Branch, Faculty of Economic Informatics.
