On February 17th, students from the BU branch celebrated the 105th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian Independence.
They visited the Signatory House to learn about the history of the establishment of the Lithuanian state and the events of that time. Students had the opportunity to access the famous balcony of the Signatory House, where the government issues a proclamation every year. This tradition has been alive for 25 years.
"Studentų taryba" translates to "Student Council" in English. It is a student organization that represents the interests of students and often plays a role in organizing events and activities for the student body.
