Employees of the Vilnius Branch of UwB took part in a service trip to Riga from 19-24 May as part of the Erasmus+ programme for university staff. The visit took place at the Baltic International Academy and was aimed at training (STT) of UwB staff.
During the stay in Riga, it was also possible to visit the students of the Ita Kozakiewicz Polish Secondary School. The purpose of the meeting was to present the educational offer at the Vilnius Branch of UwB. The students learned about the available fields of study, admission conditions and recruitment stages. The meeting also included information about student life, Erasmus+ exchange programmes, study groups and the student government.
The training trip was part of a project that focuses on improving skills and qualifications necessary for professional work. Female employees had the opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance their knowledge in a particular field. Such initiatives are crucial for the professional development of university staff, enabling them to acquire new competences and establish international contacts.
