On January 10th, representatives of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius visited the Szymon Konarski Gymnasium to present awards to students who participated in a creative contest to design their own banknote. The authors of the best entries were recognized, with one person earning first place for originality.
During the visit, the Dean of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, Prof. UwB Dr. Hab. Urszula Wróblewska, met with the school's principal to discuss possibilities for further collaboration.
The competition was part of an educational trip that took place on November 15th. The students of class 4A visited the university building, attended the lecture "Does Money Grow on Trees?" and learned the basics of economics.
