On a fall Monday, October 30th, students from the University of Bialystok's Vilnius Branch participated in the annual cleaning of the Rossa Cemetery in preparation for the upcoming All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. Participants collectively cleaned the military section where the Mausoleum "Mother and the Heart of the Son" is located – a monument containing the heart of Marshal Józef Piłsudski and the remains of his mother, Maria z Billewiczów, as well as the graves of fallen soldiers. This was not only an act of caring for memorial sites but above all, a tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the fight for freedom.
