On 29 May, the Branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius hosted 18 international participants as part of the 2nd International Staff Week, organised by the International Relations Office of the University of Bialystok. The participants represented the following universities:
The main aim of the event was to strengthen and expand international cooperation, as well as to exchange know-how, good practices and experiences with higher education institutions from EU Member States, Erasmus+ associated countries and partner countries outside the programme.
The International Staff Week programme was aimed at professionals working with international students and staff on a daily basis, particularly those from international relations and mobility offices, quality assurance units and departments supporting international students and staff, as well as anyone interested in internationalisation.
During their visit to the Branch, the guests had the opportunity to attend a vibrant and moving performance by the Representative Polish Song and Dance Ensemble “Wileńszczyzna”, showcasing the rich traditions and culture of the region.
The guests were also introduced to the activities of the Branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius, including its organisational structure, degree programmes, international cooperation activities and day-to-day operations. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss possible forms of further cooperation.
