On April 12th, students, alumni, and staff of the Branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius participated in the Wolf's Trail Run 2025, which took place in Vingis Park. The event was aimed at commemorating the "Cursed Soldiers" – heroes of the Polish independence underground movement.
This was the 11th edition of the Cursed Soldiers' Memory Run in Vilnius, which gathered over a thousand participants. There were four distances to choose from: 5 km, 10.5 km, a half marathon, and the symbolic 1963 meters – a distance that refers to the year of death of the last "Cursed Soldier" killed in battle, Józef Franczak "Laluś".
The event was organized by: the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vilnius, the Polish Youth in Lithuania, and the "Sporto renginiai" association. All participants received commemorative medals, and the best runners were awarded prizes sponsored by the Embassy.
