January 27 marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorating the millions of victims of the Nazi genocide during World War II.
At the invitation of the Department of National Minorities under the Government of Lithuania, representatives of Erudito Lyceum in Vilnius, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, the House of National Communities, and the Cultural Center of Different Nations in Kaunas, along with pupils and students, took part in the #WeRemember campaign. The initiative highlights the importance of historical memory, community, and combating hatred.
"WeRemember" is a campaign launched by the World Jewish Congress to honor the victims of the Holocaust, fight antisemitism, and educate about genocide prevention.
