The new building of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius has been included among the nominees in the Podlaskie Brand 2025 competition. The competition's jury distinguished the Vilnius building in the Investment category.
The modern headquarters of the UwB Branch, opened in July 2024, is a spacious and innovative facility with an area of over 3,000 m². It features, among other things, state-of-the-art lecture halls, computer laboratories, and an underground car park. The building provides excellent conditions for study, teaching, and the development of academic cooperation.
The UwB Branch in Vilnius plays an important role as a platform for academic, social, and economic dialogue, as well as a space for Polish-Lithuanian cooperation. Although located outside the region's borders, it forms an integral part of the University of Białystok and contributes to promoting the Podlaskie Voivodeship abroad.
Internet users can cast their vote in the Podlaskie Consumer Brand plebiscite. Voting runs from 6 March (from 12:00) to 13 March (until 12:00) at: https://podlaskamarka.pl/pl/etap-5
The competition winners will be announced at a ceremonial grand finale on 17 April 2025.
