On January 30, students from the Rev. Józef Obrembski Gymnasium in Maišiagala visited the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce the students to the university’s educational offer, the admission process, career development opportunities, and student life. They had the chance to tour the university's modern building, see its facilities, and engage in discussions with members of the academic staff. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to ask questions about study programs, career prospects, and the daily life at the university.
After the informational session, participants took part in a poetry session dedicated to the works of Rev. Jan Twardowski, held in the Reading Room of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius.
The event was led by Dr. Zofia Olek-Redlarska—a poet, PhD in pedagogy, author of numerous poems for adults and children, and lecturer at the University of Białystok. The meeting provided a space for reflection on poetry, discussions about Rev. Twardowski’s work, and an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the written word in the cozy atmosphere of the library.
