On April 15th, the Open Day took place on the campus of the University of Bialystok, during which all departments and units of the largest university in the Podlaskie region presented their offers. Hundreds of students from across the region took the opportunity to get a closer look at the university's rich educational offer.
Representatives of the Branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius also participated in the event. The unit was presented from the perspective of its international character and the uniqueness of the place in which it operates. The participation of the Branch aimed to highlight the fact that the university is also active beyond the country's borders – and Vilnius is not only an academic city but also a space with a rich history, multicultural heritage, and a unique atmosphere.
A specially prepared booth introduced visitors to the atmosphere of the Lithuanian capital. Among the materials presented were Lithuanian flags, maps, tourist guides, books dedicated to the Vilnius region and personalities associated with it, as well as copies of the "Kurier Wileński" – a Polish-language newspaper published in Vilnius.
