On 19–20 May 2026, the University of Białystok Branch in Vilnius had the pleasure of hosting participants of field classes conducted in Lithuania.
The meetings organized at the Branch were attended by students of the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Białystok, students of European Studies, as well as representatives of the European Studies Student Scientific Association of the UwB Branch in Vilnius, and the European Studies Student Scientific Association from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
During their stay in Vilnius, the International Relations students from the Faculty of International Relations visited the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, learning about the functioning of Lithuanian public institutions and the specifics of international cooperation in the Central and Eastern European region.
An important part of the program was also a meeting with students of our Branch, during which the unit's activities, its teaching offer, and opportunities for academic development and international cooperation were presented. There was also time for integration and conversation in the old town of Vilnius.
On the second day, academic debates were held at the UwB Branch in Vilnius devoted to current social, political and economic issues, related among others to the processes of European integration, the functioning of national minorities, and international cooperation.
