On February 28th, students from the Engineering Gymnasium of Joachim Lelewel in Vilnius took part in an educational lecture titled 'Do Money Grow on Trees?', which introduced them to the history of money in an accessible way. The students learned about the concept of money, the principles of barter trade, and the mechanisms of goods exchange, helping them better understand the fundamentals of the economy.

During the session, economics students conducted practical exercises with the pupils and also prepared quiz questions with prizes, making the meeting more engaging and enjoyable. During the visit, the students also had the opportunity to tour the branch building, including the lecture halls and the library.

The event was organized by the Friedrich August von Hayek Economic Students' Scientific Circle (KNSE), the Department of Economics and European Studies, and the Career and Promotion Office of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius. Thanks to their collective efforts, the students not only gained new knowledge but also had the opportunity to connect with the Polish academic community and enhance their creativity.
