The AMUL Project

30.04.2026

On 29–30 April, first-year students of pre-school and early childhood education, together with students from Białystok and Poznań, took part in the AMUL Project (Active Small Flying University) — an original, innovative student placement programme developed by Prof. Dr. hab. Anna Brzezińska. The event was organised by the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, in cooperation with the Faculty of Educational Sciences of UwB, with the involvement of the Vilnius Primary School in Antakalnis and the Adam Mickiewicz Lyceum in Vilnius.

A total of 24 pedagogy students from the University of Białystok and the Branch in Vilnius, as well as two psychology students from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, participated in the placements. The students prepared 8 lesson topics, selected on the basis of proposals submitted by the directors of the cooperating schools — Iwona Czerniawska from the Adam Mickiewicz Lyceum in Vilnius and Aneta Łapcun from the Primary School in Antakalnis. As part of the project, unconventional relaxation lessons were conducted, among other activities, in two Vilnius schools by students of pedagogical disciplines.

The project brought together pupils, students, and teachers, creating a space for joint action, integration, and the exchange of experiences. This was the first initiative of its kind both for the organisers and for the schools in Vilnius. Further editions of the project are planned for the end of May — they will take place in Šalčininkai, Jašiūnai, and Eišiškės.
