After a five-year break, the 'StuDnia' Cabaret – a unique humor festival in the Vilnius Region – returned to the stage of the Polish Cultural Center in Vilnius. On March 14, 2025, participants competed in two categories, 'School' and 'Open,' showcasing their stage talents and delivering plenty of laughter and great entertainment to the audience.
Five schools participated in the 'School' category. The title of 'The Happiest School of the Vilnius Region 2025' was awarded to St. John Paul II Gymnasium in Vilnius, while the Grand Prix for originality and stage excellence went to Szymon Konarski Gymnasium.
In the 'Open' category, the winners were the team 'Bardzo Krótki Występ Muzyczny,' which included two students from the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius. Their prize was a hot air balloon flight.
In the same category, the team "Czerwone Długopisy" also performed, consisting of pedagogy students from the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius. They were cheered on by friends from the university and representatives of the University of Białystok Student Parliament. The team received a diploma for the best debut and the 'Vilnius Feast' award—a dining experience at Sakwa restaurant. In their performance, they humorously portrayed how exam questions and tasks are created at the National Agency for Education (NŠA).
The 'StuDnia' Cabaret is more than just a competition—it's a significant cultural event for the Polish community in Lithuania. It fosters humor, creativity, and the integration of young people from various schools in the region, strengthening Polish identity and the cabaret tradition.
Most importantly, the event is open to anyone who wants to showcase their talent and sense of humor!
