Study Visits of Polish Diaspora Youth to Poland – 3

01.07.2026

On 30 June, a promotional and recruitment meeting for the project "Study Visits of Polish Diaspora Youth to Poland – 3" took place at the University of Białystok Vilnius Branch. The meeting was led by Piotr Polakowski, Director of the Polonia Connect Association.

The meeting discussed the opportunity to take part in a unique study visit to Poland, aimed at young people from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

The aim is to give young Poles living abroad the chance to get to know the country of their roots up close, discover its educational and professional potential, and build lasting relationships with Poland.

Participants in the visit will:

  • learn about Polish universities and opportunities to study in Poland,
  • visit public institutions and see how a modern state functions,
  • meet inspiring people from the worlds of science, public administration and civil society organisations,
  • develop social, civic and professional competences during workshops,
  • establish valuable contacts with Polish diaspora youth from different countries.

The knowledge, experience and new friendships gained will help participants plan their future consciously and strengthen their ties with Poland even further. The project also aims to inspire young people to take action in their local communities and share the experiences they have gained with others.

Recruitment is open only until 7 July 2026.

Are you aged 18–25, living in one of the countries covered by the project, and want to learn more about Poland and your educational and professional opportunities? Don't wait – submit your application!
