On May 14, a scientific seminar organized by the Department of Economics of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius was held.

The invitation to participate in the seminar was accepted by dr hab. Ewa Gruszewska, Associate Professor at the University of Białystok – Director of the Doctoral School of the University of Białystok and Head of the Department of Institutional Economics, Faculty of Economics and Finance, University of Białystok.

The seminar programme included the following presentations:

1. "Conflict as a Source of Institutional Change" – dr hab. Ewa Gruszewska, Associate Professor at the University of Białystok,
2. "The Influence of Institutions on the Development of Energy Systems in the Baltic States in 2004–2026" – presentation of the doctoral dissertation concept by mgr. Stanislav Pilżys,
3. Discussion of the doctoral dissertation concept by mgr. Stanislav Pilżys,
4. Questions and free remarks.
