On 17 May, as part of the 20th PFNiS, under the motto "Nothing in life is to be feared, it only needs to be understood." - Maria Skłodowska-Curie, an open lecture and practical classes led by Jerzy Lewko, M.Sc., on 'Regeneration and health promotion of modern man' took place at the Vilnius Branch of UwB.
The meeting addressed the topic of willpower and how our actions and habits affect our bodies. Man, imposed by the modern pace of life, is often doomed to self-destruction. Diseases of civilisation are occurring at an increasingly young age and accompany most people for most of their lives. The speaker focused on several important aspects of human regeneration and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, emphasising that the use of simple and accessible techniques can help many people to prevent serious health disorders.
