On March 20, an open lecture by Prof. Dr. Huseyin S. Kyuchuk (Hristo Kyuchukov) titled "Educational Rights of Minority Children" took place at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius. During the lecture, he discussed the key challenges related to the educational rights of children from national minorities. The professor also presented the results of his research and discussed the major difficulties faced by these communities, including language and cultural barriers, as well as examples of good practices applied in various European countries.
Professor Huseyin S. Kyuchuk is a distinguished linguist and expert in intercultural education, bilingualism, and the education of Roma children and minorities in Europe. He has a rich academic and research background, and his collaboration with researchers and experts from around the world contributes significantly to the development of this field. Since March 2025, he has been employed at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius as a visiting professor.
