On December 10th, an important event took place at the new headquarters of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, where a letter of intent was signed to establish cooperation between Podlaskie universities and Polish organizations based in Lithuania. The document was signed by the rectors of the three largest Podlaskie universities: Prof. dr Mariusz Popławski (University of Białystok), Dr. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk (Białystok University of Technology), and Prof. dr Marcin Moniuszko (Medical University of Białystok), along with representatives of Polish organizations based in Lithuania.
The agreement outlines areas of cooperation, including the development of educational programs, providing academic and teaching support for Polish teachers and students in Lithuania, organizing scientific, educational, and cultural events, and engaging young people, teachers, and researchers in projects that promote Polish culture and national heritage.
