On November 14th, the branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius hosted a guest lecture by Dr. Hab. Mariusz Ausz, Professor at UMCS, titled "Piarist Education in Poland and Lithuania”.
Dr. Hab. Mariusz Ausz, Professor at UMCS, is a distinguished scholar specializing in the history of education. He serves as the Head of the Department of Social History and Education and the President of the Lublin Genealogical Society. With over 100 publications on the history of education, didactics, and historical education to his name, he shared his expertise and research findings on Piarist schooling during the lecture.
