On 29 April, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius hosted the vernissage of the photography exhibition "Who Are We?" by Patrycja Stefanowicz — a young artist and photography student in Vilnius.
The exhibition is devoted to the experience of growing up at the intersection of two cultures and two languages. Through portraits and fragments of conversations, the author presents the stories of Poles living in Lithuania, exploring the themes of identity, belonging, and the search for one's own place.
The cycle on display is personal in character and constitutes an attempt to capture the emotions and questions that accompany young people growing up in a multicultural environment. The project was developed on the basis of conversations with peers and residents of Vilnius, and its aim is to illustrate the diverse experiences associated with national and cultural identity.
