On May 12, at the Vilnius Branch of the University of Białystok, as part of the Podlasie Festival of Science and Art, a meeting was held with Agata Andruszkiewicz – an art therapist, art educator, and artist. The event was titled: “What Were You Afraid of as a Child? What Are You Afraid of Now? Artistic Activity in Recognizing Fears among Nine- and Ten-Year-Olds.”
During the event, issues related to fears among children aged 9–10 were discussed. Participants learned what kinds of fears children experience, what the somatic symptoms of fear are, and how adults can support children in accepting and understanding their own fears.
