On 10 March, as part of the ongoing Women's Day celebrations, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius hosted a meeting with Renata Mazur, MA — an outstanding alumna whose experience and passion inspire others to take action. The event took place during entrepreneurship and business economics classes in the Economics programme.
Renata Mazur is among the first graduates of the UwB Branch in Vilnius. She completed her studies with an Honours Diploma. Even during her studies, she was actively involved in university life, working among others at the Careers and Promotion Office. For years she has been combining her passion for movement with working with people. As a physical education teacher, she supports children's physical development, and as a fitness trainer and Pilates instructor, she runs programmes aimed at women over 40, focusing on physical fitness, mobility, and overall conditioning.
The meeting gave special attention to Mazur's experience of running her own business. The speaker talked about the beginnings of her professional journey, the challenges of marketing and managing a business, and the process of building her own career path. The presentation was full of practical tips and inspiration that may serve students as a guide when planning their own professional futures.
