On May 9, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius hosted an educational meeting with students from the Longin Komołowski Gymnasium in Paluknys.
During the visit, the students attended a lecture titled “Do Money Grow on Trees?”, which presented in an accessible way the development of payment systems – from barter exchange to modern forms of electronic payments.
They also had the opportunity to tour the university building and learn about the institution’s daily functioning. The meeting not only expanded their economic knowledge but also gave them a chance to better understand academic life and integrate with the Polish scientific community.
