On January 16th, an unusual Polish language lesson took place for the second-grade students at the Szymon Konarski Gymnasium in Vilnius. The guests were Dr. Zofia Olek-Redlarska, a poet, doctor of pedagogy, and author of many poems for adults and children, and Dr. Emilia Jakubowska, a lecturer at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius.
Ms. Zofia presented her poems to the students, including pieces from her collection “Portraits of Children's Names”. In the end, the students had the opportunity to purchase books with a personal dedication from the author.
