On 29 April, the Vilnius Primary School in Antakalnis hosted an international conference for parents entitled "Education towards Courage, Wisdom and Freedom".
The event was conducted in Lithuanian and Polish. Participants had the opportunity to learn about educational experiences, listen to inspiring presentations, and take part in discussions devoted to important issues related to the upbringing and education of children.
Among the speakers was the Dean of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, Dr. hab. Urszula Wróblewska, Professor of UwB. The conference brought together parents, teachers, representatives of the educational community, and guests from Lithuania and Poland. Students of pre-school and early childhood education at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius also attended the event.
The speakers shared reflections on the role of parents in raising children, the building of relationships founded on trust, and the development of creativity, courage, and independence in the younger generation. The bilingual format of the event fostered integration and the formation of an international educational community.
