In December of last year, the Center for Innovative Didactics was established, comprising branch staff who belong to the teaching staff group. The Center’s mission is to support academic teachers and other instructors in improving teaching materials. Its main tasks include organizing and co-organizing trainings, seminars, and other forms of pedagogical development.
The Center’s first initiative took place on February 23. The training titled “How to Keep the Audience’s Attention?” was conducted by Waldemar Chmielewski, a public speaking trainer. During the session, the speaker discussed how to effectively engage listeners, the posture to adopt during a presentation, how to work with voice and intonation, and how to consciously use body language and gestures to reinforce the message.
