On March 18, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius hosted an educational event for third-year students from Adam Mickiewicz Gymnasium in Dieveniškės and Adam Mickiewicz High School in Vilnius.
The students took part in a lecture titled “Do Money Grow on Trees?”, which explored the history and evolution of money — from the days of barter to today’s digital payments. The visit also included a guided tour of the university, along with an overview of its structure and day-to-day academic life.
The students had the chance to ask questions and gain insight into what studying at a university is really like. The event also served as a valuable opportunity to connect with the Polish academic community.
