On Wednesday, 20 May, at the initiative of the Association of Polish Schools' Teachers in Lithuania "Macierz Szkolna," a conference was held at the Polish Cultural House in Vilnius, attended by the Polish educational community as well as Polish and Lithuanian politicians and social activists.
The aim of the working conference "Polish Education in Lithuania Facing New Challenges" was an open discussion of pressing issues concerning Polish education in Lithuania, the development of a common position, and the adoption of a resolution intended to confirm a firm stance by the Polish educational community regarding the successive reforms and changes being introduced.
The conference was attended by the Dean of the UwB Branch in Vilnius, Associate Professor Urszula Wróblewska, Habilitated Doctor, Professor of UwB.
