On 16 April, Computer Science students of the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius took part in the VILNIUS TECH Karjeros diena GRAVITY (GRAVITY Career Day) event, organised by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to explore offers from numerous companies, including job and internship opportunities in the IT sector. Students were able to speak directly with potential employers and attend discussions on current topics, gaining valuable insights into professional career development.
The programme included a wide range of talks and panel discussions on topics such as building professional networks, entering the job market, and employer expectations of candidates. The future of the energy sector and the role of soft skills in career development were also addressed.
VILNIUS TECH Karjeros diena GRAVITY is a space that attracts academic talent as well as leading companies and forward-thinking organisations — a place whose "gravitational force" brings together people capable not only of breaking existing patterns but also of creating new rules for dynamic and forward-looking business.
