On May 19, the University of Białystok Branch in Vilnius hosted another event from the "Meetings with a Book" series, organized by members of the J. Korczak Student Scientific Association of Pedagogy (KNSP). This time the university welcomed children from the St. Rafał Kalinowski Gymnasium in Nemėžis.
During the meeting, participants together discovered the world of Justyna Bednarek's book "The Incredible Adventures of Ten Socks (Four Right and Six Left)." The reading and discussions about the characters were accompanied by creative games and tasks that allowed the children to actively take part in the activities and develop their imagination.
The guests also had the opportunity to get to know the university's spaces and see what everyday student life looks like. The time spent together fostered integration, a good atmosphere, and the building of positive associations with books and learning.
For the students, this was another opportunity to gain experience working with children and to develop their pedagogical competencies through practical activities.
