From 26 to 28 May, first-year students of Pre-School and Early-School Education Pedagogy, together with students from the University of Poznań, took part in the AMUL Project (Active Little Flying University) – an original, innovative student internship programme developed by Prof. Dr. Hab. Anna I. Brzezińska. A group of students also participated together with their supervisors: Dr. Magdalena Barańska, Dr. Monika Kiszka, Dr. Mateusz Leszkowicz, and Dr. Konrad Nowak-Kluczyński. The activities were carried out as part of a series of workshops for children and young people in Polish schools in the Šalčininkai district.
The classes were held, among other places, in Šalčininkai, Jašiūnai, and Eišiškės, and formed part of the student internships and the innovative educational programme. The project coordinators on behalf of the Faculty of Educational Studies (WSE) are Dean Prof. Dr. Hab. Waldemar Segiet and Dr. Łukasz P. Ratajczak.
The project brought together pupils, students, and teachers, creating a space for joint activity, integration, and the exchange of experience. It also included a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Lithuania, as well as the Academic Seminar in Pedagogy, which took place at the invitation of Dean Dr. Hab. Urszula Wróblewska, Professor of the University of Białystok, at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius.
This was the second initiative of its kind. The previous editions of the project took place in April of this year at the Vilnius Antakalnis Primary School and at the Adam Mickiewicz Lyceum in Vilnius.
