On 21 April, a meeting was held at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius with economics graduate Edwin Milewski — an entrepreneur, manager, and one of the first graduates of the Branch. He also holds an Executive MBA degree from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).
Edwin Milewski has extensive experience in the financial and business sectors. For nearly nine years he developed Aventus Group in Poland, serving as CEO and guiding it into the top five of the LendTech sector. He also gained professional experience at Millennium Bank, where he was involved in implementing innovative payment solutions in cooperation with organisations such as VISA, Mastercard, and BLIK.
My career path is above all the nearly 9 years I spent building Aventus Group in Poland from the ground up. As CEO, I brought the company into the strict TOP 5 of the LendTech sector in Poland, he emphasises.
He is currently developing his own ventures — the payment institution Diviti Group and the advisory firm Startwin — focusing on projects in the FinTech space.
The meeting offered an opportunity to learn about the graduate's career path and to draw inspiration for further development and career planning. Students responded very positively to the presentation, and stories like his demonstrate that people with real professional experience can serve as powerful motivation to take action, embrace challenges, and pursue consistent growth. The meeting concluded with expressions of thanks and applause for the speaker.
