On 16 April, members of the J. Korczak Student Scientific Society of Pedagogy at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius welcomed Year 2 pupils from the Michał Baliński Gymnasium in Jašiūnai as part of the "Meeting with a Book" series.
The children not only took part in the event but also toured the university and had the chance to briefly step into the role of students by attending a lecture together with them.
During the meeting, the pupils were introduced to the book "The Amazing Adventures of Ten Socks (Four Right Ones and Six Left Ones)" by Justyna Bednarek. Games were played and integration activities between the students and their younger guests took place, providing an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in working with children.
