On 13 May, at the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, as part of the "Meetings with a Book" series, members of the J. Korczak Student Pedagogy Research Club hosted pupils from grade 2 of the "Źródełko" School-Kindergarten.
During the event, the pupils got to know the book "The Amazing Adventures of Ten Socks (Four Right and Six Left)" by Justyna Bednarek. The meeting was accompanied by games, conversations and joint activities that allowed the children to step into a world of imagination and fairy-tale adventures.
The youngest guests also had the opportunity to tour the university and briefly take on the role of students by taking part in a joint lecture.
The event was also a valuable experience for the students, who were able to develop their pedagogical skills and gain practice working with children.
The aim of the initiative is to encourage the youngest readers to read, to develop imagination and creativity, and to show that a book can become a source of joy, inspiration and shared fun.
